A
student has to perform many duties and responsibilities to make his
student-life perfect. Firstly he should study seriously. It is only by serious
study that he can acquire knowledge necessary to prosper in life. He
should be obedient to his parents, teachers and elders, and pay them due
respect. A student must do his homework regularly. He should not be
self-centered. He should extend his helping hand towards his fellow students in
times of (their) need. A student should think that he is not only a member of a
family but also a member of society. So it is his duty to be aware of social
responsibilities. He should render as much social service as he can. He should
actively take part in social duties, like cleaning the surroundings, teaching
the illiterate people, serving the poor and the distressed, and the like. A
student should help his country by promoting peace among his fellow men. The
student must take regular physical exercise to make his body fit and keep his
mind cheerful. He should be truthful and friendly by nature. A student can
achieve success in life if he practices discipline and obedience.
